Where best to advertise for Commission Only sales positions within Recruitment?
We have a new online recruitment marketplace that brings together employers and recruiters and we are looking for sales people to work on a commission only basis to sign up people to the site and add vacancies. Now’s where’s best to advertise this role? We are UK based.
I would love to join this website for my Birmingham UK based magazine. How can I join? What is the website. I think that we should be able to help each other on this as you could get an advertising slot in my magazine.
What r some part time jobs a college student can do?
I am a 19 Y.O full time college student. I have always been interested in working for a hospital doing administrative work or something. I only have a high school diploma. Only problem is most of the job opprotunites seem to be from 9 to 5pm(full time) and I need a part time job from 1pm to 8pm or something. Cause I go to class in the morning.
Also please don’t say grocery store or being a waitress. Those jobs r terrible!!!!
1. If you really want to find a hospital admin-type work, I would suggest trying to find a more flexible job in that hospital. Show them what you’re capable of, then after they know you and you get to know the staff, they will be more lenient with schedules.
2. Look for jobs on your college campus. They are probably the most flexible jobs you will ever have. Some jobs might even let you study during down-time…..so basically getting paid to study. Please be advised that college campus jobs are usually low paid.
3. Look into working for retail stores, like Macys and such. They are usually flexible with college students and it won’t be waiting tables.
4. Look at small businesses around your campus…maybe the ones you frequent more often…like a coffee shop, or a little book store. Those are usually family run and they might need a little help here and there.
Hope this helped! You might want to check out http://collegebrink.com after the launch (August 15th) for some more insight and information.
Cheers
What jobs are there that specialize in clinical psychology?
I am really interested in clinical psychology and I would like to know what jobs I can take that involve this and their average salaries. Also what majors should I take for these jobs?
Hi, I’m currently studying a BSc in Psychology with the hope of becoming a Clinical Psychologist. What I need to do afterwards is get a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Being a Clinical Psychologist is probably the most well known job in this field. You earn a lot because you’ll essentially be a doctor without an MD, therefore you can’t prescribe medication.
What’s going to happen to the USA after all the jobs have moved to Asia and Latin America?
After the system goes bankrupt, for get it: it will be like it is in Third World countries –no unemployment benefits, no social assistance.
What will people do there? Will they finally realize they have to accept working in dangerous, demanding jobs for 30 bucks/day, like the rest of the world?
Lets not go there,I really don’t see that happening.

Can an employment tribunal claim be informally settled despite receiving a hearing date?
I received a letter from my solicitor regarding my full hearing date for my employment tribunal claim (it’s in 4 months’ time). I can’t get hold of him for some reason, and am in a bit of a state. I would like to know whether the claim could still be settled informally before the hearing date, and whether there can be more than one meeting with the conciliator/mediator?
Yes, of course.
Some companies settle ‘on the door step’ of the Court room on the day of the hearing …
Should you ignore job vacancies that require a minimum number of years experience?
Considering you haven’t accumulated that much.
For example,
A job requires that you have 2 years experience. However, you’re a fresh graduate BUT the degree you have is very much aligned with what they are looking for. Should you pursue or not? What are the chances of being considered? Accepted even?
How about if you have a Masters degree? Surely that counts for something more than work experience from a repetitive and dull job. Or is it still irrelevant?
Companies consider actual work experience as desirable as it saves a lot of time training-wise.
Schools made the mistake of hiring young teachers - university graduates - with absolutely no idea of how to handle 30-40 students at a time rather than giving experienced teachers the opportunity to return to the profession
How do I format a resume in Microsoft Word 2007?
I have been sending my resume which is in Microsoft Word using my hot mail account (through Microsoft Outlook 2007). Some of the recipients, not all, have said that my resume is not formatted correctly and the letters are getting cut off. Can anybody tell me why that is, and how I can change it please?
You should convert it to a pdf file, that way it will always look the same and anyone will be able to open it regardless of what office style software they use.
I don’t know if office can create pdf files, but there are plenty of pdf creating programs which act as printers.
Could a employer look up previous job information?
Is it true that an employer could look up employment dates with just my social security number? I’m in the interview process and I feel comfortable doing drug screening, criminal background checks and calling previous employers, but could they really find previous employment dates via the internet?
there is NO database that includes this information………….
even your records at the social security administration (which they can NOT access) do NOT contain dates of employment, just years….. the same is true about your records at the IRS………..
