How do police investigators find past employment? Are they able to find current employment for current year?

with 4 comments

I showed inconclusive on pre-employment drug test and was not hired for job in 2008. I was paid a bit for a one day training that I attended, but no more. Can the police background check find out about this if it is not on my application? I was never employed as the test showed inconclusive. I wanted to retest but they were going to make me pay for it. Found different job instead. Any ideas out there? Preferably from someone with applicable experience?

That is simple, to get paid buddy, you have to pay in to Uncle Sam. Taxes are why they can find your every check. You pay into social security, federal, etc. Even one check for one day as your story.

So, they check the IRS by social security number, etc.

Secondly, they can check your bank that cashes these checks, or that you deposit them into. So, if you don’t want them to know get paid "under the table" and keep all your money away from the banks.
