What country is it easiest to get a job in Asia?

It will be years before I move but it never hurts to plan ahead. I was thinking Thailand because it has such good culture and has volunteer opportunities. Sadly after some research I found getting a job there is extremely hard so where is a better choice? Id like to start learning the language. I have a degree in photography, not exactly in demand, still it’s a dream. Thanks everyone!

Japan is a nice place with great photoshoots for you!

Any jobs in China for english speaking students?

I want to travel to China next year and base myself in Beijing for 3 months maximum and while there I was wondering is there any job I could find to make some extra money. I would love to teach english as I am a straight A student in English here in my Irish high school but when I travel to Beijing I will only be 17 and I am wondering will this pose any problems as I am not a LEGAL adult.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am willing to take and courses etc I need to.

First off is qualifications. The school will hope to see a degree (which obviously you don’t have yet) and also a TEFL certificate to prove you can teach English. If the school needs a teacher there and then they might be willing to employ you without a degree. This means you will have to arrive in China and literally start knocking on school doors seeing if there’s a job going. If you’re lucky (and persistent) you should pick up something.

Do people in China get to pick their own jobs and education?

I was wondering how the education system worked in China and how jobs are obtained.

Do people get to choose their work or does the state assign people with specific jobs?

Sigh. Yes they get to pick their own jobs and education.

What sort of jobs could my Chinese wife get in the UK?

I am currently living and working in China, and have recently married my Chinese girlfriend. We will soon move back to the UK. I was wondering what jobs you think she could get? She has a degree in accounting and her English is good, but not fluent. What do you think?

If she is fluent with accounting she will get a job even if she has to start as a payroll clerk first and then when she proves her ability can move up to accountant.
Have a look at the link below it is one of many accounting type job agencies , start researching jobs now.

Do you think that Mattel is getting what is deserves for shipping US jobs overseas?

One thing that a lot of companies are doing is they are shipping jobs overseas because it is cheaper. They do this so that the CEO and Board of Directors can have their nice expenisive life. "Less money spent on labor the bigger boat I can buy." Amercian’s need to check the label before buying a product. If it says "MADE IN CHINA" put it right back on the shelf. They are getting what they pay for cheap labor-cheap quality. Unfortunately we Americans have to pay for thier selfish choices. Thanks corporate Amercia for looking for our future. Thanks for shipping jobs overseas-how patriotic of you. What do you think?

If mattel didnt somebody else would. They have to outsource to remain competetive in a global economy…

If minorities (especially Asians) come to America and take jobs or jobs are outsourced to Asia, what happens..?

to the people that could have worked those jobs. Also, are you upset about it?

Ok, first, most anyone who comes to the US with an already-secured job has been hired for their skills by some US employer–so don’t blame the incoming foreign worker. If the employer hadn’t hired them, then they would not be here. The unskilled foreign worker comes and gets the jobs that are open because they are willing to do things US citizens aren’t willing to do for the low price being paid–so they aren’t taking jobs away from anyone, they are filling a need. Who should be blamed for outsourcing to foreign countries and for hiring from outside the US are the employers. If the big execs at all these companies would take a (sizable by regular working people standards) cut in pay, the company would have more money to pay their regular workers so they would not have to go overseas to find cheap labor. It’s all backfiring now anyway–China has been the place to go to get cheap labor done but the Chinese laborers are protesting their low pay rates so as their pay scale goes up, so goes the cheap labor (and as far as I’m concerned, China is turning out too many toxic things and we ought to reconsider). Many of the foreign students who came to the US to get a good education and to get a few years of hands-on experience in their field eventually return home and take their skills and education with them. Things like this happen all the time and it’s good for Americans to reassess what their real needs are, relearn how to cut back and maybe live with a little less, etc.
